Enrollment & Payment Terms

Enrollment & Deposit

When you click below, you will be directed to the payment page, where you will be able to enter your credit card to pay your $750 non-refundable deposit to secure your space in your Elective.

Upon completing the payment of your deposit, you will receive an invoice for the balance of your payment, 50% of which is due no later than 120 days before the start of your Elective and the balance of which is due no later than 95 days before the start of your Elective.

If you are eligible for a discount, you will be asked to apply it at the time you make a full payment, not at the time you pay the deposit. If your discount is for sharing a room or attending with a friend, it will be deducted from your balance once the other person has enrolled. Any add-ons you have selected will be included at this time as well. Please note that discounts cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.

Special note: if you have requested to share a room and would like to have two separate beds, availability must be confirmed with the hotel(s). Please contact us before enrolling if this is important for you.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is required for participation in an Elective. Your travel insurance must provide coverage against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency evacuation. We also highly recommend that your travel insurance cover Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) and Covid-related trip interruptions. Please note that most CFAR policies require you to purchase them within a short period (several days) of buying the first element of your travel. You may choose any insurance provider. We recommend going through our partners at TravMark who offer CFAR insurance and provide personalized service.

Student Portal

Following payment of your deposit, we will send you an email to log into your Elective portal. Here you can fill out additional information including medical and dietary restrictions, passport details, travel insurance, etc, as well a Liability Waiver which must be signed in order to participate in the Elective.

This space will also have details about your Elective: specific information about how to get there, what to bring, and the Extracurriculars available. It will be updated over time with your reading list and syllabus, as well as your exact itinerary and accommodation information.

Confirmation Date

We will contact you no later than 120 days before the start of your elective to confirm that enrollment for the Elective has met the minimum and that you should go ahead and book your travel. We do not recommend booking travel before this date unless you have Cancel for Any Reason insurance (see below).

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

● Cancellations made more than 120 days prior to the Course start date will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

● Cancellations made between 120 and 95 days prior to the Course start date will result in the forfeiture of the deposit plus 50% of the total Course cost.

● Cancellations made within 95 days of the course start date will result in the forfeiture of 100% of the total Course cost.
